not working
It's working, just fine. I hope it will get updated, but it hasn't since. 2022 the Developer probably abandoned it but I'm not sure. Usually when nothing gets updated with in a few years its abandoned, hopefully not.
Hi I want to block certain user so that he can't see my channel video. Is that work with this extension?
works for the most part. doesn't break or slow down youtube either which is nice. I'm knocking off 2 stars because there's still at least 2 instances where this extension doesn't work: 1. "people also watched" section in search results, no X button next to the channels that show in this section. 2. recommendation cards that pop up at the end of videos will still show blocked channels, no X button either
Used to work so well! Now it's basically useless except for blocking uploading channels. I thought the block button had disappeared but I noticed it's still there for like 1% of comments. Will change my review once it gets updated, hopefully soon!
i was confident i wouldn't have to spot disgusting human FEET in my screen again.... thanks for trying tho.
Kind of strange UI with no clear understanding what you should add: the link to the channel, the name or ..? Anyway it's not working at all for me (I am using Brave), so 1 star.
I never have to look at Joe Rogan's dumb face again, thanks Channel Blocker!
Was working until this week the channels blocked still showing up
Brilliant, does what it says it does
I have used this to block over EIGHT THOUSAND garbage channels that the terrible YouTube algorithm sees fit to throw my way even though I say I am not interested in or to not show them again. Of course, a few days later the same videos or channels are being suggested again. YouTube has become a platform of imitators rather than innovators trying to get their easy cut of the pie. Most channels are nothing more than a free product and/or cash grab now days. Not worth my time for certain. Imitators and scam channels gone forever!!!!! Doesn't work on shorts or mixes unfortunately. But otherwise, I am more than happy.
excellent as it correctly block that particular channels which was dislike by me
The x button is too small even when set to maximum size, so when I click to block a channel, I accidentally open a video I don't want to watch, which is unpleasant
This extension no longer allows the user to block channels and hide their comments in the comment section. Completely useless. Uninstalled.
Please update the program to fix the comment problem. It's still useful for blocking click bait and scam channels.
This used to be an amazing extension. I blocked a few channels so I couldn't see their videos anymore, but most of my blocking was for idiots in the comment section. Unfortunately, that aspect of the extension no longer works. The "x" no longer shows up next to names in the comment section, and even if you do block them through another method, they still show up in the comments. If this gets fixed I'll gladly change my review, but until then, this extension sucks.
